Artist News Roundup: Lizzy Stewart and Josie PortilloSeptember 4, 2015
Lizzy Stewart has two new pieces out (one for sale now, and one on pre-order). Check out Lizzy's new annual planner design for Little Otsu below, which can be found on their site, here. Produced each year by a different artist, we are so excited to see that Lizzy is in the hot seat for 2016.
“The tenth installment of the Little Otsu Annual Weekly Planner returns with all the great aspects from the previous volumes including more artwork from the wonderful London-based artist Lizzy Stewart! All the useful features you've come to expect from the Annual (undated monthly and weekly spreads, handy list pages, easy-to-use wire-o binding) are combined with the added charm of Lizzy's artwork, ranging from seaside landscapes to architecture to found objects to animals with a special emphasis this year on images from her travels. Each weekly spread features a different drawing so there's a new experience each week to add inspiration to organization.”
Plus pre-order her travel zine on her site, here, which will be shipping September 9th. If you can't get to Europe on your own, trust us, you will WANT to see it through the eyes of Lizzy Stewart.
“32 page, full colour zine of my sketchbook kept on a 12 day trip from Vienna via Croatia to Venice. Drawings, paintings, notes and doodles.”
Josie Portillo also shared some great work via her Instagram with a great illustration that highlights how Middlebury College has evolved since 1914. Such amazing work and intricate work. Keep sharing these, Josie!
