Newbery Winner & Caldecott Honor Book: Last Stop on Market Street!

We just wanted to say a quick and hearty congratulations to Red Cap artist, Christian Robinson, and Matt de la Peña, author of Last Stop on Market Street! Their fabulous children's book just won the 2016 Newbery Medal and a 2016 Caldecott Honor!

If you haven't had a chance to check this one out, make sure that you do. It's a lovely story of a boy and his loving grandmother, navigating the vibrant, urban landscape to the last stop on Market Street. Their destination is heartwarming and the lesson in this book makes a lasting impression on anyone who has the privilege the read it.
